Twin Span Brewing (TSB), a new restaurant and brewery being built in one of the hottest new locations in the Quad City Area, is seeking an experienced kitchen manager.

We’re looking for a candidate who: leads with energy and empathy, demonstrates passion for outstanding customer experience, and is excited to help grow a new local business.

What You’ll Do

Coordinate Back of the House restaurant operations

Deliver superior food and maximize customer satisfaction

Respond efficiently and accurately to customer feedback

Organize kitchen shifts and ensure appropriate supervisory coverage

Assess performance of kitchen staff and provide feedback and discipline

Identify and select top talent to add to the team

Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations

Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste

Train new and current employees on proper kitchen and food prep practices

Implement kitchen protocols and training that will maintain future restaurant operations

Requirements

2+ years’ experience as a Kitchen Manager or similar role

4+ years' experience in a commercial kitchen

Food Safe certification or ability to acquire within 30 days

Extensive food and beverage (F&B) knowledge, with ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait staff

Strong leadership, motivational and people skills

Degree in Business Administration; hospitality management or culinary schooling is a plus but not required.

Compensation: $38000 per year
